Jack Hay Helps Boca Thunder Baseball 16U Down Florida Stealth 16U Navy 8-4

Jack Hay (SJP, 2018) went 2-2, helping Boca Thunder Baseball 16U to an 8-4 victory over Florida Stealth 16U Navy on Thursday at Charlotte Co (Rays) Complex.
The bottom of the first saw Florida Stealth 16U Navy take an early lead, 4-0. A single by Ferrara, scoring Zack Hurley started the inning off. Florida Stealth 16U Navy then tacked on more runs when Appello scored on an RBI single by Zackary Swift, Mondesi scored on a walk by Jonathan Fernandez, and Ferrara scored on a bases loaded walk by Liam Cogswell.
Boca Thunder Baseball 16U never trailed after scoring five runs in the third on a two-run double by Cal Bocchino (SJP, 2017) and two singles.
Boca Thunder Baseball 16U increased its lead with three runs in the fifth. The inning looked promising, as Cogswell (SJP, 2019) singled, bringing home Hay (SJP, 2018) to kick things off. That was followed up by Nicholas Johnson's (SJP, 2019) single, plating Daniel Farinas (SJP, 2019).
